endoscopic mid-face lift

Endoscopic Mid-Face Lift

Repositioning of cheek and malar tissues through endoscopic technique for a youthful, well-volumed mid-face.

Endoscopic Mid-Face Lift - Procedures

Duration

2-3 hours

Anesthesia

General anesthesia or deep sedation

Result

Stabilized result at 3 months; lasts 8-12 years

Overview

Endoscopic mid-face lift treats one of the first zones affected by aging: the middle third of the face. Descent of malar fat creates deepening of the nasolabial fold, hollowing of the suborbital region and a sad appearance. The endoscopic technique allows repositioning of these tissues through minimal incisions without affecting the hairline or preauricular area.

Dr. Mubariz Mammadli uses a combined temporal and intraoral approach, lifting the malar fat compartments back to their youthful position. The result is true anatomic restoration, not simple skin tension, which gives a natural appearance and long-term duration.

Who it is for

  • Patients with mid-face ptosis and deepening nasolabial fold
  • People with structural tear-trough through malar hollowing
  • Younger patients (35-50) with early signs of aging
  • People who do not want a complete face lift
  • Patients who have used malar fillers and want a permanent solution

Procedure overview

  • Consultation with 3D evaluation of facial compartments
  • General anesthesia or deep sedation
  • Temporal incisions (2 cm) and intraoral incisions (gingivobuccal sulcus)
  • Endoscopic subperiosteal dissection over the zygomatic arch
  • Vertical repositioning of malar compartments and deep fixation

Recovery and aftercare

  • Pronounced mid-face edema during the first 7-10 days
  • Soft diet for 7-10 days (intraoral incisions)
  • Strict oral hygiene with antiseptic mouthwash
  • Socially acceptable appearance in 2-3 weeks
  • Follow-ups at 1 week, 1 month, 3 months and 6 months

Frequently asked questions

How much does endoscopic mid-face lift cost?

The price depends on the extent of surgery and whether it is combined with other procedures (lower blepharoplasty, neck lift). The exact cost is set at consultation.

How does it differ from malar fillers?

Fillers add temporary volume (12-18 months) in a zone that continues to descend. Endoscopic lift definitively repositions the patient's own fat to its youthful place, offering a stable anatomic result of 8-12 years.

Are scars visible on the face?

No. Incisions are hidden in the temporal scalp and inside the mouth (gingivobuccal sulcus). There are no scars on visible facial skin.

How pronounced is the postoperative edema?

Mid-face edema is more marked than other lift types because tissues are vertically repositioned. Peak is at 48-72 hours, then progressively decreases. Socially acceptable appearance in 2-3 weeks.

Can I also do a neck lift at the same time?

Yes. Many patients combine mid-face lift with neck lift for a harmonious result. The decision is made at consultation based on individual anatomy.
