endoscopic forehead lift

Endoscopic Forehead Lift

Smoothing forehead and glabellar wrinkles through an endoscopic approach, without long incisions or sensory loss.

Endoscopic Forehead Lift - Procedures

Duration

1.5-2 hours

Anesthesia

General anesthesia or deep sedation

Result

Stable result for 8-10 years

Overview

Endoscopic forehead lift addresses deep horizontal forehead wrinkles, vertical glabellar lines and overall descent of the upper third of the face. Unlike botulinum toxin treatments, which temporarily relax muscles, the surgical approach selectively weakens the responsible muscles and repositions forehead skin.

Dr. Mubariz Mammadli uses 3-5 small incisions hidden in the scalp through which the endoscopic camera and specialized instruments are introduced. The advantage over classic coronal lift is the absence of a long scar, preservation of scalp sensitivity and significantly faster recovery.

Who it is for

  • People with marked vertical glabellar lines
  • Patients seeking a smooth forehead without frequent botulinum toxin
  • People with associated brow descent
  • Patients with normal or low hairline

Procedure overview

  • Consultation with skin assessment and frontal muscle analysis
  • General anesthesia or deep sedation
  • 3-5 incisions of 1-2 cm in the scalp behind the hairline
  • Endoscopic subperiosteal dissection and selective muscle weakening
  • Skin repositioning and deep internal fixation

Recovery and aftercare

  • Compressive frontal bandage for 24-48 hours
  • Edema and bruising for 7-10 days
  • Sensation of forehead pressure during the first week
  • Return to sedentary activity in 5-7 days
  • Follow-ups at 1 week, 1 month and 3 months

Frequently asked questions

How much does endoscopic forehead lift cost?

The price depends on case complexity and whether it is combined with brow lift. The exact fee, including surgery, hospitalization and follow-ups, is provided at consultation.

When can I stop botulinum toxin treatments?

Many patients stop completely or use much lower doses after endoscopic lift because muscles are surgically weakened. The decision is individual based on the result.

Will my forehead be numb after surgery?

Temporary numbness is normal in the first 6-12 weeks because sensory nerves are stretched during dissection. Sensation returns progressively and completely in most cases.

How does it differ from the classic coronal lift?

Coronal lift uses a long ear-to-ear incision. Endoscopic lift uses 3-5 small hidden incisions, with no visible scar, no major sensory loss and much faster recovery.

Is hair growth in the incision area affected?

No. Incisions are made parallel to hair follicles, preserving them. Hair growth at the scar level is normal after healing.
